ARTS ALIVE CAMP

Our 2009 music and arts day camp will be August 10 – 13, 2009, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.   This year’s camp will have a new focus: expressing faith through vocal music, dance, and visual arts.  The camp is for children entering 1st – 6th grade in the fall of 2009.   Cost for the camp is $95 and includes lunch, a water bottle and a t-shirt.  Scholarships are available based on need.  Camp staff include vocal teacher Kimberly Walton and dance instuctor Katie Martin-Browne.  Camp brochure is available online at www.grandrapidsfumc.org.

Camp Creation

God has uniquely created each of us with gifts and talents and the ability to learn new things. Camp Creaton Summer Arts Camp is a wonderful opportunity to learn things like painting, clay & tile, Tae Kwon Do, dancing, instruments, singing, and the list goes on and on.  Camp Creation meets each day from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (lunch included) for children who have completed 1st grade through 8th grade. Registration will begin in May. Cost is $50.00/child with a $125 family max. Scholarships available. Contact Sheryl Baas with any questions.
