Have you been to the Women's Expo?  I went for the first time three years ago and made the mistake of going with my son (who was 2 and in a stroller.)  Why was that a mistake?  With a stroller, you can't get up to any of the tables to talk to people, and with a 2 year old, you can't focus on any of the fun shopping, make-overs, seminars, product samples, etc.  I paid my entrance fee and spent most of my time pushing through crowds and doling out granola bars.  Not terrible, but not a refreshing experience either.

Contrast that to last years experience.  In 2009 I got a sitter and went with a girlfriend.  We had a blast!  We bought cute scarves, had our makeup done, tested lots of free samples and talked, talked, talked!  The Women's Expo is a great time to get out and remember what it means to be a woman.  Yes, a lot of times that involves toting around children, but if you're looking for a real treat, get a sitter and spend some girl time with the women who mean the most to you.  I doubt you'll regret it!

In honor of the upcoming Expo, I get to give away a pair of (2) tickets each week until the expo.  So to enter, leave a comment in the blog saying who you'll bring to the Expo and why it will be fun for you.  Good luck, and see you at the Expo (I will be there in a booth, so come say "hi!")

And if you don't win tickets, you can use this coupon.  Enjoy!

Winners:
Michelle J. - 2 tickets

I used to go each year but I've missed it the last few years. I would love to take my friend for an afternoon off from our kids just to pamper ourselves.

I'll bring my mom to the Women's Expo. We used to do lots of things together, before I had my daughter seven months ago. Now it's always the three of us. I can have my husband watch our daughter, then Mom and I can have a girls day out at the Expo! :~)

I would love to go to this and have some quality girl time! I would bring my sister because we love hanging out together and this would be perfect for both of us! I am a stay at home mom so this would give me the chance to have some "free" time away from the kids because I very rarely get out of the house for myself.

I would bring my best friend Angie who I never see anymore. I have a 2 year old and a 5 month old and she has twin 2 year olds herself, so needless to say, its hard to coordinate time out together. If we knew ahead of time, we could bargain with our husbands to take the kids and we could spend a little girl time together that we've missed out on in the last 3 years!

I would bring my friend Jen. We both have kids and would love the opportunity to escape for the day and let the husbands handle the kids while we have some fun!

This year though, I have found a babysitter. And my new friend (also a single mother) Susan would be coming with me! We are very excited! It would be a great day of getting out without the kids.

I have the attended the Women's Expo for the last couple of years now. I love all the free samples. However, be careful if you try the chocolate fountain - I had chocolate all over me! I would bring a girl friend who just heard about it through me!

I attended last year with a girlfriend I hadn't really known that well, and I was pleasantly surprised at how much fun we had. We sampled snacks, bought jewelery and scarves and she is now my son's babysitter.
So I would bring Jessie again, b/c it brought us closer and she has become an integral part of my life.

I have attended the Woman's Expo in the past and always find really good information and new things to try. So I would like to take my mom and my sister this year to see all the new things first hand. What i really like about the Expo is being able to talk to people and you actually is what they offer!
