Think winter.  Frozen water.  Metal blades.

Ice skating is one of the ways to put fun into winter, and if you live in the Greater Grand Rapids area, there are plenty of places to practice hockey stops and fancy jumps.  (The Olympics are coming and that always makes be want to be an elegant ice skater!)  Indoor rinks, outdoor rinks, classes and drop-in events, we've got it all.

Take stock of this list, and if you find your favorite skating place is not here, please add it in the comments!
Thanks!

Just a heads up! Kentwood Ice Arena is once again offering Learn to Skate and Learn to Play Hockey lessons for half off their regular price, just $39.50 for 8 weeks of skating lessons!

A new session just started on Sunday, but you can join in at any time! My 4yo is in his 3rd session and having a blast.

We would *love* be entered into the drawing! We went to their interpretation of "A Night Before Christmas" & had a wonderful time.
