I just came across something I thought was worth mentioning.  Kentwood Ice Arena has a class that teaches kids how to ice skate.  It is on Sunday evenings and runs $79-$99 for a 8 week session.  Click here for more details.  You can also find a similar program at Griff's Ice House.

Could make a future hockey player a great Christmas present!

My 4yo did a session of Learn to Skate at Kentwood last winter and is excited to start up again this week.

Kentwood has a great program, as does the Georgetown rink (out in Hudsonville)!

My boys learn to skate and play hockey through EGRAHA, http://egraha.org/ . They play at the Jolly Roger Ice arena located behind Grand Rapids Christian High. It is a great program and great coaches too!

I just signed my son up for Learn to Skate at Kentwood Ice Arena and was pleasantly surprised to find out that their Learn to Skate and Learn to Play (Hockey) programs for Session 2 (Nov 22-Jan 10) are half off!

That's just $39.50 for ice skating or $49.50 for Learn to Play for 8 weeks, a steal for ice time!
