Thanksgiving is just around the bend, and the Christmas lights will follow soon after. It's a crazy, magical season. For kids, the newness of it all is part of the magic. For parents, the memories and traditions can contribute to a delightful season. But stress, shopping, cooking, family gatherings, and more can take the glow out of your Holidays. Experts tell us to slow down, eat less, move more, and we will feel better. But the reality of it is that most moms MAKE the holidays happen in the home. So, my question for you is, before we get swept up into the busyness of it all, what puts sanity into your holiday routine? Have you decided to give something up this year? Are there traditions that are sacred to your family? How do you help your kids with the "gimmes"? Share your ideas on how you make the holidays a cozy place for your family. I think others want to hear what you have to say. I know I do! |
